The 31st meeting of the COOMET Quality Forum took place on 29 September 2026.
The meeting addressed current issues related to the activities of the Quality Forum and the development of quality management systems of National Metrology Institutes and Designated Institutes.
Information was presented on the outcomes of the 30th meeting of the COOMET Joint Committee for Measurement Standards and the 50th meeting of the JCRB, together with a report from the COOMET Secretariat on current activities.
Quality Forum members reviewed the results of the peer review of the quality management system of BelGIM, Belarus. Following the review, a new Confirmation of Recognition was issued.
One of the key items was the oral presentation of the quality management system of AzMİ, Azerbaijan. The information presented was considered by Quality Forum members as part of the quality management system assessment process. The next stage of the procedure provides for a peer review of the AzMİ quality management system.
A separate presentation addressed the integration of Uzbekistan’s testing laboratories into the international metrology environment, including digitalization, proficiency testing and ensuring confidence in results.
The work of the COOMET Quality Forum supports exchange of experience among COOMET member institutions, development of quality management systems and effective implementation of the CIPM MRA.
